Who is behind Sunny Day Films Wedding Videography?
My name is Simao and I am the head videographer and editor at Sunny Day Films.
I was born in Portugal but been calling Australia home since 2011. Since my Granddad took me to the movies, I have been fascinated by them. I bought my first video camera at 18 and it all began!
Since then life has taken many different turns. From studying engineering in Italy and a Masters in the UK to a PhD scholarship to Australia to pursue Biomedical Engineering. You probably won’t find a more “qualified” wedding videographer out there…
But it’s my passion for visual arts, music and a desire to express myself creatively that started me on this journey to create unique and visually striking wedding films!
My ethos/philosophy reflect my drive and passion to not create something like everyone else does but to always pursue a style that perfectly blends documentary with artistic beautiful shots that show each wedding day in the most natural way possible!
