John and Carmen met in London, when Carmen and a few of her friends were looking for a final housemate for the shared house they were renting. John was the final housemate! They were most certainly friends at the start and neither of them were “looking for a love” at this point. After spending a few months as friends, socialising often with others in the house but also just the two of them, they shared a special evening + night + morning that included everything from dancing, drinking and breakfast and more or less, the rest is history!
